Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors which formed from the constraints of TQM implementation in orderto analyze the potential problems of TQM implementation of Plaza Semarang Hotel. The sample of 65 employees ofTQM implementation of Plaza Semarang Hotel consisting of managers and staff. Technical analysis is factor analysis.The results found that the potential constraint implementation of Total Quality Management can be summarized intofive factors of inconsistencies, the factor of vision and mission, cultural transformation factors, managerial factorsand factors of quality management. This suggests that an increase in corporate functions through the optimization ofquality as a business strategy and oriented to customer satisfaction by involving all members of the organization on anongoing basis to maximize the competitiveness of the organization on products, services, human resources,environment and all processes that support toward improving productivity .
